For those who believe in Christ the spiritual path opens up unimagined possibilities. It is not only an incredibly beautiful path, but also a difficult one.
A wise man once said:
"For as it is in the nature of water to flow downward,
so vice pulls man downward, and it undoubtedly appears to be the easy path.
Virtue leads man upward, and thus appears to be the difficult path."
Mahatma Gandhi
For us the strength to follow this path comes from God’s eternal law, by the grace of God and through living together in harmony with one another in our Christian community.
We strive to live together in peace and harmony and to be there for one another.
Observing the guiding principle of “one for all, and all for one,” we follow the path together that Christ exemplified and taught. Even though we work together, each individual inwardly follows his own path. It is our conviction that everyone, in order to develop his own spiritual abilities, should seek his own relationship with God and strengthen this relationship through prayer and solitude in nature.
One encounters many paths in one’s search for God. As a fellowship of Christian believers we respect other faiths and feel particularly connected to those who follow the word of God and the precept of brotherly love.
We respect and love nature. We try to learn from nature what our Creator wants to teach us through her infinite greatness and beauty. The whole of creation is a written and spoken language; it is a testament to the mastery and love of God. For us, every created thing, from people to animals to plants and stones, has its own special place.
"Our country with its splendor,
its mountains, its plains
are the witnesses of Your power,
vestiges of Thy fatherly goodness.
To You everything in us prays;
Great things have You done for us!"
Karl von Greyerz
"We have a revelation which is older than any written one,
nature."
Friedrich Schelling
