In the early 1950s, a small group of Christian oriented people began to meet regularly in Linden. They had a desire not only to read and believe in the teachings of the Bible, but also to realize these teachings in daily life. For this purpose they decided to make a commitment to totally abstain from the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
Their core message is: to seek God as individuals and also in community, to live in peace and harmony with one another and to strive each day, anew, to live in accordance with Christ’s teachings.
The members of this group reside and work in various locations within Switzerland and abroad. Each member determines for himself how often and in which form he maintains contact with the community. The fellowship is not organized in the manner of a club; the members neither pay dues, nor do they advertise, nor do they hold meetings, rallies or revivals.
The group still exists today. People, for whom the core message is of fundamental concern, are continually joining the group.
